Your stay at Centre Lambahoany

Tourists can spend one or more nights in the bungalows at the Centre LAMBAHOANY, participate in activities like sports and daily meditations. They can attend the cultural activities organised in the centre. They can learn about the sustainable energy used in the Centre. Or they can simply enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the litchi- and other fruit bearing trees, with a cup of coffee, freshly squeezed fruit juice or a drink from the bar. All these facilities are also open to the inhabitants of Tamatave. Tourists can plan the rest of their stay in Tamatave and environments, a trip to one of the villages with whom Centre Lambahoany co-operates, or learn about Madagascar, and especially Toamasina province through the information available in the documentation centre.

Our Bungalows

The bungalows at centre Lambahoany have a downstairs room with a double bed, a wardrobe, chairs and a table. On the loft is a second double bed. The bungalows each have a bathroom, with toilet, shower and washbasin. A veranda completes the bungalow.The interior has wood panelling and wooden and bamboo furniture. All beds have mosquito nets (daily checked on for holes). The windows have insect screens and blinds. The outside is concrete covered in bamboo, the roof is from the local ravinala (palm leaves), to guarantee shelter from the rain and a cool atmosphere when the sun is shining.

Conditions

A bungalow can be rented for 40.000Ar when reserved in advance and paid on arrival. Rooms will be available at 12 o’clock in the morning and must be vacated before 10 o’clock on the day of departure. Breakfast is included and will be served in the main building; it can be either European or Malagasy (Vary amin’anana). Drinks and snacks are available all day.

The Centre has a guarded parking. Use of the documentation and information centre is free of charge. Cultural events at Centre Lambahoany can be attended free of charge. The staff will be at your service 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.
