Centre Lambahoany organises your trip to three popular holiday destinations in East Madagascar:
- A visit to ANDASIBE, the part of the tropical rainforest within easy reach from the capital Antananarivo.
- An excursion on the PANGALANES CANAL, which runs parallel to the Indian Ocean, with visits to several sites.
- A trip to STE MARIE, an idyllic small island and thé holiday spot on the east coast with snorkelling and diving opportunities, and whale spotting in season.
Centre Lambahoany cooperates with Mitsinjo, the association of villagers, which manages the park with the same name. Mitsinjo is located across the road from the National Park Andasibe-Mantadia. Included in the programme are a night walk and a day tour in the park. There will be sufficient time to look round the village Andasibe.
A boat trip on the canal, walking or canoeing in a patch of primary forest, a visit to the Palmarium, where several kinds of lemurs live in semi-freedom. You will stay in a hotel managed by the village organisation in the fishing village Andranokoditra. The village is located between the canal and the Indian Ocean. There will be sufficient time to visit the local museum, the orchid garden and the distillery of essential oils and to take a dip in the lake.
