Pangalanes Canal. Along the Longest Man-made Waterway

PANGALANES CANAL
A two-day trip down the Pangalanes Canal to visit a patch of unspoiled forest and a nature reserve with several species of lemur in semi-freedom. On the way the boat will stop at Tapakala for a garden lunch and at Tampina to visit a women-managed distillery for essential oils. The fishing-village-cum-seaside-resort Andranokoditra will give you an idea of the daily life and culture in this part of Madagascar.
